Towering at 14,410' Above Sea Level, The Sheer Size and Beauty of the Mountain Dominates the Landscape of the Pacific Nortwest
A climb of Mount Rainier by any route is a spectacular and unforgettable experience.
Standing at 14,410 feet above sea level, the Mountain dominates the landscape of the Puget Sound region. Its flowing glaciers and icy cirques rise up over 8,000 feet above the meadows and forested slopes of the lower mountain.
Because of its proximity to the Puget Sound area and its stunning visual presence, an ascent of Mount Rainier is a compelling challenge for many Northwest residents and climbers from around the country and the world.
Join us as on our summit attempt of Washington’s largest glaciated peak. Our route takes us up the classic Emmons Glacier. More remote and less visited than Camp Muir, our time at Camp Schurman allows for outstanding pictures and personal time as well as an exceptional training site to practice climbing skills.
This climb is led by Cascade Alpine Guides Mount Rainier Climbing Staff.
